The hit musical La Légende de Monte‑Cristo will come to Vorst Nationaal in Brussels on May 20, 2026. The show blends drama, music, and powerful storytelling in a stage adaptation of Alexandre Dumas’s classic adventure novel.
1815, Edmond Dantès, jeune capitaine, est victime d’une machination et est injustement emprisonné au soir de ses fiançailles avec la belle Mercédès, dans les geôles du château d'If au large de Marseille. Après quatorze années de captivité, il parvient à s'échapper et l’aventure le conduit au trésor caché de l'île de Monte-Cristo. Il entame une nouvelle vie sous le nom du Comte de Monte-Cristo. Devenu riche et puissant mais ayant perdu l’amour de sa vie, Dantès est bien déterminé à assouvir sa vengeance en faisant payer ceux qui l'ont envoyé en prison…
« La Légende de Monte-Cristo, le Musical » est une adaptation en comédie musicale du chef-d’œuvre d’Alexandre Dumas et sera l’évènement de l’année 2026. Avec GJON’S TEARS dans le rôle de DANTES et PHILIPPINE LAVREY dans celui de MERCEDES et plus d’une vingtaine de personnes sur scène, ce spectacle, mis en scène par SERGE POSTIGO fera vibrer les spectateurs au travers de chansons, chorégraphies et décors fabuleux.
