The Endangered Species (Theatre) Project Presents DIANA OF DOBSON'S

The Edangered Species (theatre) Project presents a fully staged reading of Diana of Dobson's by Cicely Hamilton. A Romantic Comedy of the "Upstairs/Downstairs turned Upside-Down" variety. Playwright Cicely Hamilton was often compared to George Bernard Shaw and penned the lyrics to The Women's March. The production will play at the Centennial Memorial United Methodist Church on 8 West 2nd Street, in downtown Frederick, MD on October 14 at 4 p.m. and October 16 at 7 p.m.

"Income inequality is still something we grapple with today and when I first read this play, I was shocked at how timely it felt! I couldn't wait to bring it to the Frederick Community" says director Christine Mosere. Very successful when first performed in London in 1908, Diana of Dobson's mixes stylish comedy with biting social commentary in a rags-to-riches story set in the unseen world of the overworked and underpaid shop-girls.

Mosere is supported by the acting talents of Aaron Angello, Suzanne Beal, Jason Hoffman, Surasree Das, Ryan Leach, Jean Hudson Miller, Emily Raines, Cass Redding, Anne Raugh, Madeline Reinhold, Morgan Southwell, and Ian Travano. Also features a Teen Musical Ensemble of: Zoie Higgs, Jackson Peters-Mosere, Wilson Seltzer, Morgan Southwell, Beau Scott, Daniel Summerstay, and Charlie Tilton.

All tickets are "pay-what-you-can" and various ticket prices are available at www.EventBrite.com. Patrons may also show up at the door and drop any amount in the donation basket.
