Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET) is kicking of its sixteenth season wIth the hysterically funny Completely Hollywood (Abridged). This seriously silly show biz satire condenses the 186 greatest films in Hollywood history into a complete compilation of classic cinematic cliches. Completely Hollywood (Abridged) by ReEd Martin andAustin Tichenor with additional material by Dominic Conti will run every Thursday through Sunday at Maryland Ensemble Theatre from September 6 through 29.

Completely Hollywood (Abridged) is written by the same folks who brought us The Complete Shakespeare (Abridged) and The History of America (Abridged), two of the most well-received and memorable comedies MET has produced and like those shows this one will also be directed by MET Associate Artistic Director, Gené Fouché. "The show is fast-paced, high-energy and hysterical and will be appreciated by film buffs and casual movie-goers alike", said Fouché. The cast features the versatile talents of Matt Lee, Jack Evans and James McGarvery. Fouché continued, "The three actors in the cast are also physical comedians, so they're perfect for this production. This is the perfect show for audiences to escape the stress of their lives and just enjoy an evening of fast and fun entertainment."

Completely Hollywood (Abridged) will be ably assisted by a production team that includes lighting design by Doug Grove, costumes by Barbara Blackwood, set design by JoAnn Lee, sound design by Tom Majarov and props by Milee McDonald.

Completely Hollywood (Abridged) will run from September 6 through 29 every Thursday through Sunday at the MET, located in the historic FSK Hotel at 31 W Patrick Street. Thursday, September 5 there will be preview performances at 8pm and tickets to that show are $5 (cash only at door). The opening weekend will also include a meet and greet with the cast following Saturdays' performance and the first Sunday performance will be preceded with a reception. The reception at 6pm sponsored by Canal Bar and Grill will be a special event as MET will be unveiling exciting plans for the future of Maryland Ensemble Theatre.
