The 80th Annual Drama League Awards Ceremony and Luncheon was held yesterday afternoon, May 16, at the Marriott Marquis Times Square, where winners were announced for Distinguished Production of a Play, Distinguished Production of a Musical, Distinguished Revival of a Play, Distinguished Revival of a Musical, and the much coveted Distinguished Performance Award. Now in its second year on Broadway, CINDERELLA continues to play to large and enthusiastic audiences at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). Roundabout Theatre Company opened officially on April 24, 2014 at the newly transformed Kit Kat Klub at Studio 54 on Broadway (254 West 54th Street). The revival stars Alan Cumming in his Tony Award-winning role as 'Emcee' and three-time Academy Award nominee Michelle Williams as 'Sally Bowles'. Tickets are now available through January 4, 2015. Acclaimed for her work in the recent Broadway musical Big Fish, the groundbreaking off-Broadway musical Giant and her breakout performance in the 2009 Broadway revival of Finian's Rainbow, Kate Baldwin offers her first solo concert program in NYC in three years at 54 Below, on May 15-17.

On Sunday, BroadwayWorld produced an elegant and elaborate celebration all about the man behind the music for such legendary and unforgettable musicals as GYPSY, FUNNY GIRL, GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES, PETER PAN and many more - the incomparable Jule Styne - all to honor the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of America. It was an unforgettable night, as those in the audience and watching the livestream can attest, and we have already provided multiple exclusive and extensive looks behind the scenes (here and here) showcasing the sights and sounds of the night and the preparation for it, kicking off earlier this week with some fabulous photo sets provided by our esteemed team of photographers, and today we bring you an all access pass to view the onstage action, as well. BroadwayWorld's own Pat Cerasaro created and directed the evening, with expert musical direction provided by the superb Phil Hall. Without a doubt, the astonishing array of performers appearing truly could not have been more delightful or magnificent - both onstage and off - and the marvelous Styne melodies were grandly served by that stalwart collection of Broadway's best, performing hits such as 'Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend', 'Don't Rain On My Parade', 'People', 'Never Never Land' and more.

The newly restored Tavern on the Green, located in Central Park just west of the Sheep Meadow near 67th Street, just celebrated its historic re-opening last night, May 12. The new Tavern on the Green, with executive chef Katy Sparks at the helm, serves Contemporary American cuisine with global influences offering a new take on a Park dining establishment serving all New Yorkers and visitors to Central Park. The Phantom of the Opera, which is now in its 26th year on Broadway, celebrated yet another in a long line of milestones last evening, as it welcomed former LITTLE MERMAID co-stars Norm Lewis and Sierra Boggess to the cast on Monday, May 12, at the Majestic Theater. The audience erupted in cheers last night, as history was made when Norm Lewis became the first African-American performer to star as The Phantom in the Broadway production. In attendance were stars ranging from Lea DeLaria, to Sherie Rene Scott and icons like André De Shields and Melba Moore, composer Andrew Lloyd Webber and director Hal Price. They were joined by with friends, family, press and of course the show's usual, sold-out audience.
