Critically acclaimed theatre company The Playwrights Realm presents the New York premiere of Lauren Yee's new play The Hatmaker's Wife, directed by recent OBIE Award winner Rachel Chavkin (Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812). The Hatmaker's Wife marks the first Playwrights Realm production at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater (416 West 42nd Street) in midtown Manhattan, following previous engagements in several downtown Off-Broadway venues. ESPN kicked off its 2013 college football campaign with the network's second highest-rated and third most-viewed Thursday night season-opening since 1999. The doubleheader of No. 6 South Carolina defeating North Carolina 27-10 at 6 p.m. ET and Ole Miss beating Vanderbilt 39-35 at 9:15 p.m. averaged a 2.1 US rating and 3,135,000 viewers. ESPN's highest-rated season-opening night since 1999 was for a Thursday doubleheader in 2009 (South Carolina at NC State and No. 16 Oregon at No. 14 Boise State) that averaged a 2.3 rating and 3,568,000 viewers.

Though holding fairly well in the ratings, with the finale setting the season's high with 3.4 million total viewers, The Glades has seen a double-digit drop in the key 18-49 demo, prompting the network to pull the plug.

In honor of Hip Hop's 40th anniversary this month, GoDigital has released the official trailer for the music documentary, SAMPLE THIS. The film is narrated by Gene Simmons of KISS fame, and it will hit theaters and VOD on September 13th.
