Horse Trade Theater Group is proud to present RadioTheatre and their original, live, audio-theatre adaptation by Orson Welles and Dan Bianchi of Bram Stoker's classicDRACULA. Sing With Haiti presents a star-studded gala benefit concert to aid the rebuilding of the Holy Trinity Music School in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, which was destroyed in the earthquake of 2010. The Grammy Award-winning soprano Deborah Voigt - beloved for her performances on the opera, concert, and recital stage, as well as for her turns as host of the Metropolitan Opera's popular "Live in HD" series - will host the gala concert in San Francisco's Grace Cathedral on Wednesday, October 2. This important event will include performances by Voigt as well as from "America's favorite mezzo" (Gramophone)Susan Graham, children's choirs from the Holy Trinity Music School, and other distinguished guests. A gala reception at the Fairmont San Francisco Hotelwill follow the concert.

Award-winning photographer and conceptual artist Laurie Simmons and her daughter, Lena Dunham, best known for writing, directing, producing, and acting in the HBO program Girls, will be honored at the eleventh annual Women in the Arts luncheon on Thursday, November 14, 2013. This is the first time the benefit will jointly honor two recipients--a mother-daughter pair. Proceeds from the event will benefit the many educational and artistic programs offered by the Brooklyn Museum and its Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art.

The Film Society of Lincoln Center announced today that the 51st New York Film Festival (NYFF,September 27 – October 13) will serve as the launching pad for a retrospective of filmmaker Jean-Luc Godard's work. The film series, entitled Jean-Luc Godard - The Spirit of the Forms, will begin during the second week of the festival, on October 9, and continue through the end of the month, October 30. (Specifics for the schedule and titles playing after NYFF will be distributed next week.) This year's NYFF will also play host to the 20th Anniversary screening of Richard Linklater's DAZED AND CONFUSED on October 10 at 9PM, presented by New Wave, and with the director and members of the cast in attendance.

According to Variety, THOR 2's director Alan Taylor is currently in talks to take on the upcoming TERMINATOR reboot for Skydance Productions, Annapurna Pictures and Paramount Pictures. Taylor has also previously helmed episodes of BOARDWALK EMPIRE and GAME OF THRONES.

DIY Network, celebrating its 14th year anniversary this week, has set a number of audience records for the week ending 9/1/13. In fact, it set a total day audience record on Sunday, 9/1/13, averaging 288,000 viewers. The network also set a record for the most watched week, averaging 171,000 viewers in total day and 260,000 viewers in prime. The momentum continues this week with the Tuesday, 9/3/13 episode of Holmes Makes It Right averaging 570,000 viewers -- making it the most watched episode of any series in DIY Network history. For the week ending 9/1/13 DIY Network reached more than 10.8 million viewers and during August 2013, the network reached 19.3 million viewers.

CBS Sports has acquired the rights to televise BIG EAST Conference college basketball games on the CBS Television Network and CBS Sports Network through a sublicensing agreement with Fox Sports. The multi-year agreement begins with the 2013-14 college basketball season and continues through 2018-19.

If you spend fall and winter following a bouncing orange ball, then this season it is sure to lead to a FOX Sports network, together home to 227 men's and women's regular and postseason college basketball games from the BIG EAST, Pac-12, C-USA and Big 12 conferences this season. STRIKE BACK: ORIGINS will begin its six-episode premiere run Oct. 25 on CINEMAX, marking the first time the series will be seen in the United States, it was announced today by Kary Antholis, president, HBO Miniseries and CINEMAX Original Programming. Presented in the UK in 2010 on Sky, the show was acquired by HBO/CINEMAX from BBC Worldwide Sales and Distribution and was produced by Left Bank Pictures and Ingenious Broadcasting. Left Bank Pictures currently produces 'Strike Back' with partners CINEMAX and Sky.

Fans have been waiting for college football to return and millions of them went to ESPN to fulfill their appetite during a five-day opening buffet to the 2013 season. ESPN drew large audiences for its studio and game action across multiple television and digital networks, surpassing every competitor offering college football content.
