SECRET MILLIONAIRE Finale Delivers Month-High Ratings for ABC

Despite going up against NBC's premiere of Sunday Night Football in the 9 o'clock hour, the season finale of ABC's 'Secret Millionaire' grew over the prior week's telecast by 10% in Total Viewers (4.3 million vs. 3.9 million) and by 38% in Adults 18-49 (1.1/3 vs. 0.8/3) to post its best performance in 3 weeks - since 8/18/13. In addition, 'Secret Millionaire' shot up week to week by 100% in Women 18-34 to match a best-since premiere number. The ABC unscripted series improved over its year-ago finale (4.0 million and 1.0/3 on 8/12/12) by 8% in Total Viewers and by 10% in Adults 18-49.

HOUSE OF WAX Set for 3D Blu-ray Release, 10/1

On October 1, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will celebrate the 60th anniversary ofHouse of Wax with a stunning new restored and remastered High-definition 3D Blu-ray. In 1953, the film was the first color 3D feature released by a major studio. The huge hit also marked Vincent Price's first major starring horror role and changed the course of his career. Thanks to advanced technology and the expert work of Warner Bros. Motion Picture Imaging (MPI), audiences will now be able to enjoy the classic mystery shocker as it was originally seen in theatres. The Blu-ray ($39.99 SRP) will include a new featurette, 'House of Wax: Unlike Anything You've Seen Before' and Mystery of The Wax Museum,the original 1933 film on which House of Wax is based. A 2D version of House of Wax will also be included.

MORE THAN THE RAINBOW to Open 13th Annual Coney Island Film Festival, 9/20; Full Lineup Announced

The 13th annual installment of the Coney Island Film Festival (named one of the '25 Coolest Film Festivals' by MovieMaker Magazine) hits the shores of Coney Island from Friday, September 20th through Sunday, September 22nd. This year's festival features 88 films from around the world; a stunning array of high and low-brow fare, as diverse as the neighborhood it represents. Subjects range from the profound to the profane, showcasing the independent spirit and irreverent nature of the one and only Coney Island.

The concert is the fifth of the series; previously honored were Adele, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, and Stevie Wonder. A new trailer for JEWTOPIA,based on the Off-Broadway hit, has just debuted. The story focuses on two friends, Adam Lipschitz (Joel David Moore) and his non-Jewish friend Christian (Ivan Sergei), both approaching their 30th birthdays. Gentile Chris is interested in dating a Jewish woman (Jennifer Love Hewitt) because he feels that she will make his life easier by making all of life's decisions for him. Adam wants to date Gentile women because he does not want to be reminded of his roots. The two team up and teach each other how to woo the women of their choice. Check it out below!

Bruno Mars' SNL Encore Takes Saturday Night in Adults 18-49

An encore telecast of 'Saturday Night Live,' with host and musical guest Bruno Mars, averaged a 2.5/6 in metered-market households. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, “Saturday Night Live” averaged a 1.2 rating, 6 share in adults 18-49. These are “SNL's” top household and 18-49 results in the local markets in four weeks (since August 10, with a rebroadcast hosted by Adam Levine with musical guest Kendrick Lamar).

According to Deadline, the younger-skewing network is in talks to pickup a new series inspired by THE WIZARD OF, titled DOROTHY MUST DIE. The project, based upon Danielle Paige forthcoming novel, comes from the team behind NBC's HEROES: Tim Kring, Adam Armus, and Nora Kay Foster.

25.1 Million Tune in to NBC's NFL KICKOFF

Despite a 33-minute weather delay that pushed kickoff past 9 p.m. ET, last night's 'NFL Kickoff' on NBC was watched by 25.1 million viewers -- up 5% from last year's opening-game and ranking as the third-most watched “NFL Kickoff” game in the 12-year history of the event, according to official national data released today by The Nielsen Company.
