According to Deadline, the younger-skewing network is in talks to pickup a new series inspired by THE WIZARD OF, titled DOROTHY MUST DIE. The project, based upon Danielle Paige forthcoming novel, comes from the team behind NBC's HEROES: Tim Kring, Adam Armus, and Nora Kay Foster.

The HUB Network, a destination for kids and their families, continues to add to its slate of fun family programming with the HUB Network premiere of the hit 90s show 'Step by Step,' Monday, October 7, 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. The series will air weekdays at 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. ET/4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. PT. 'Step by Step' has not aired on television in more than three years.

Despite a 33-minute weather delay that pushed kickoff past 9 p.m. ET, last night's 'NFL Kickoff' on NBC was watched by 25.1 million viewers -- up 5% from last year's opening-game and ranking as the third-most watched “NFL Kickoff” game in the 12-year history of the event, according to official national data released today by The Nielsen Company.

The Film Society of Lincoln Center (FSLC) announced today its 2013 NYFF HBO Directors Dialoguesparticipants will be Richard Curtis, Paul Greengrass, Agnieszka Holland and Frederick Wiseman and the popular HBO On Cinemaconversation will feature James Gray. FSLC also announced the selection of Joanna Hogg and Fernando Eimbcke as the two filmmakers whose work will be screened and celebrated as NYFF's Emerging Artists this year, as well as the selections for NYFF's Shorts Programs.

Horse Trade Theater Group is proud to present RadioTheatre and their original, live, audio-theatre adaptation by Orson Welles and Dan Bianchi of Bram Stoker's classicDRACULA. In 2009, it ran three months Off Broadway and was nominated for two New York Innovative Theatre Awards for Best Performance Group and Best Sound Design. Sing With Haiti presents a star-studded gala benefit concert to aid the rebuilding of the Holy Trinity Music School in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, which was destroyed in the earthquake of 2010. The Grammy Award-winning soprano Deborah Voigt - beloved for her performances on the opera, concert, and recital stage, as well as for her turns as host of the Metropolitan Opera's popular "Live in HD" series - will host the gala concert in San Francisco's Grace Cathedral on Wednesday, October 2. This important event will include performances by Voigt as well as from "America's favorite mezzo" (Gramophone)Susan Graham, children's choirs from the Holy Trinity Music School, and other distinguished guests. A gala reception at the Fairmont San Francisco Hotelwill follow the concert.

Award-winning photographer and conceptual artist Laurie Simmons and her daughter, Lena Dunham, best known for writing, directing, producing, and acting in the HBO program Girls, will be honored at the eleventh annual Women in the Arts luncheon on Thursday, November 14, 2013. This is the first time the benefit will jointly honor two recipients--a mother-daughter pair. Proceeds from the event will benefit the many educational and artistic programs offered by the Brooklyn Museum and its Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art.
