Every episode, my final question is always “What advice would you give to younger artists wanting to pursue a career in acting?” Now that I am almost to 100 episodes with Behind the Curtain, I have heard all sorts of advice.

Take a very, very deep breath. Hold it. And let your mind leave everything else at the door. This is just one of the things I do to prepare myself for a performance.

This year has helped me as an artist in many ways I never would have thought possible. I truly cannot wait to see what happens in the next five hundred twenty-five thousand, six hundred minutes.

On October 28, I was fortunate enough to sit down on Zoom with Cher Álvarez and Patrick Heusinger, the two leading performers of the show to chat about their careers and being a part of this amazing franchise in a new way.

When people think of a new school year, they mostly think of the stress of students or the anxiety (or excitement) of starting a new year. However, compared to students who just complete their extracurricular acivities, theatre kids and performers have a little bit of a busier schedule during a show season.
