It is in this City of Angels that the dreams of many lie, and some rise to the top, while others dig their own graves.

I see this also as a way to ignore the pull of consumerism that is being shoved in our faces every day by influencers.

Thinking about 2026, the first year that I’m going into not being a teenager anymore, I feel like it’s becoming more important to me now than ever to make a name for myself.

I will always hold a special place in my heart for Anita’s Gelato and Playbill-stalking.

When I started college, I wasn’t quite sure where I wanted things to go. I knew I wanted to be in New York, and that part of my plan had already been achieved, so what was next?

Looking back, I still feel like a very different person now than I was then. I feel more sure of who I am, and more confident in being myself and setting the boundaries that are important to me.

I had a few lines, but I would’ve been completely fine with none. That show was one of the best experiences of my life, and it’s one of the reasons I fell in love with performing.

It’s hard not to adopt the mindset that I’m “running out of time”. It feels like everyone around me knows what they’re doing or what they’re going to do, and I’m behind in every sense of the word.
