The Richard Rodgers Theatre box office (226 West 46th Street) is now open for tickets to Tennessee Williams' Cat on a Hot Tin Roof starring Scarlett Johansson as Maggie, Ciaran Hinds as Big Daddy, Benjamin Walker as Brick and Debra Monk as Big Mama, directed by Rob Ashford. Cat on a Hot Tin Roof opens Thursday, January 17, 2013. Previews begin Tuesday, December 18. This limited engagement runs for 15 weeks only, through March 30, 2013. Just yesterday, Broadway lost producer Martin Richards to cancer. He was 80 years old. Long-time friend and Broadway legend Chita Rivera just released the following statement on his passing:

Culture Project (Allan Buchman, Founder & Artistic Director), in association with Innocence Project, Marc & Steven Kaplan, and Cheryl Wiesenfeld, welcomes Broadway veteran Kathleen Chalfant (Angels in America) and musical, singer-songwriter, composer Roger Waters (Pink Floyd) to the rotating cast of the 10th anniversary production of the hit award-winning play, The Exonerated, written by Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen, for the final week of performances through December 2nd at Culture Project (45 Bleecker Street at Lafayette Street) where performances began September 15th .

BroadwayWorld.com has confirmed the sad news that producer Marty Richards passed away today after a long battle with cancer. He was 80 years old.

Broadway veteran Michael Ball will release a new studio album, also titled 'Both Sides Now' in addition to launching a UK tour in spring 2013. Both the tour and the album will comprise of 2 halves, encompassing Michael's biggest hits from both his recorded and stage careers.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the Danish Royal Theater was set to present a musical based on the life of the late Amy Winehouse, opening in January 2013. Now according to the Telegraph, the show will no longer happen due to copyright issues. The musical was to feature songs from both of Winehouse's albums- 'Frank' and 'Back to Black.'

'Inside The Lion King,' the first immersive, pop-up exhibit ever created for a Broadway show, arrives adjacent to Bryant Park, on 42nd Street and Avenue of the Americas, for a limited time to celebrate 15 years of The Lion King in New York City. More than 65 million people have experienced The Lion King, but never before like this. In this free exhibit, fans of all ages will experience and interact with 86 museum-quality artifacts including hand-made puppets, sculpted masks, elaborate artisan costumes and extraordinary sets that have appeared in productions from around the world.

ANN, a new play written and performed by Emmy Award-winning actress Holland Taylor, will begin previews on Broadway at Lincoln Center's Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street) Monday, February 18, 2013 at 8pm, and will open Thursday, March 7, 2013. Directed by Benjamin Endsley Klein, ANN has scenic design by Michael Fagin, costume design by Julie Weiss, lighting design by Matthew Richards, sound design by Ken Huncovsky, projection design by Zachary Borovay, wig design by Paul Huntley, and is produced by Bob Boyett and Harriet Newman Leve with co-producers Jane Dubin, Jack Thomas, Amy Danis, Mark Johannes, Sarahbeth Grossman, Anne O'Shea and Jon Cryer in association with Lincoln Center Theater. ANN is executive produced by Kevin Bailey.

NEWSIES, Disney's popular new musical about a charismatic newsboy and leader of a ragged band of teenage "newsies", will receive Actors' Equity Association's Advisory Committee on Chorus Affairs (ACCA) Sixth Annual ACCA Award for Outstanding Broadway Chorus. The honor is the only industry accolade of its kind and honors the distinctive talents and contributions made by the original chorus members of a Broadway musical. The award will be presented in the Actors' Equity Association Council Room, overlooking Times Square, on Tuesday, November 27, 2012.

Today in 1991, the second Broadway revival of Peter Pan opened at the MInskoff Theatre, where it ran for 48 performances. Peter Pan is a musical adaptation of J. M. Barrie's 1904 play Peter Pan and Barrie's own novelization of it, Peter and Wendy. The music is mostly by Mark 'Moose' Charlap, with additional music by Jule Styne, and most of the lyrics were written by Carolyn Leigh, with additional lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green. The original 1954 Broadway production, starring Mary Martin as Peter and Cyril Ritchard as Captain Hook, earned Tony Awards for both stars.

Adam Kantor joined The Skivvies for a fun set at The Cutting Room to sing a mashup of 'Payphone,' 'Bills, Bills, Bills,' Mo Money, Mo Problems,' 'Don't Worry Be Happy,' and 'Buffalo Soldier'. The Skivvies are award-winning singer-actors Lauren Molina (Sweeney Todd, Rock of Ages, Marry Me A Little) and Nick Cearley (All Shook Up). View the video below!
