The Westchester Broadway Theatre will present IN THE HEIGHTS, running February 7 through March 17. According to the official WBT blog, Arielle Jacobs, who previously starred as 'Nina' in the Broadway production, will reprise the role this winter.

Happy Birthday, Lin-Manuel Miranda! Miranda is most famous for writing and starring as 'Usnavi' in the Broadway musical In the Heights, which opened on Broadway at the Richard Rodgers Theatre in 2008, and for which he won the Tony Award as composer and lyricist. He also wrote Spanish language dialogue and worked with Stephen Sondheim to translate into Spanish song lyrics for the revival of West Side Story, which opened on Broadway in March 2009. Most recently, Miranda worked on the musical theatre version of Broadway's Bring It On, inspired by the 2000 cheerleader comedy film of the same name.

Veteran Bob Fosse dancers Lloyd Culbreath and Valarie Pettiford will be teaching a Fosse Workshop February 4,5,6,& 7th in New York City at Manhattan Movement and Arts Center. The workshop will be comprised of 45 invited professional dancers. The dancers will be taught several Fosse numbers that best comprise the style and technique of the legendary Broadway director and choreographer.

Singer/songwriter The Jones is proud to announce the release of his new heart-felt single 'YearBook,' a Pop/R&B single inspired by true events and dedicated to anti-bullying. The Jones composed 'YearBook' after watching a news story about a young girl who committed suicide after she was bullied by her school mates. He immediately wanted to do something to help anyone going through such a horrible thing. 'I don't think singing a song is going to take away the hurt but I want to help cheer someone up if I can'.
