This season's third Musical Circus, presented in partnership between the Pasadena Symphony Association and The Americana at Brand in Glendale, is an interactive event where children can learn about drums that come in many sizes, shapes, and forms. Grammy nominated drummer Slammin Sammy K, from the Los Angeles Lakers Band, will lead children and families in a fun and rhythmic drum circle, musical games, and an "upbeat" performance.

The internationally acclaimed Elisa Monte Dance returns to the New York stage to premiere their brand new 2012 season at The Ailey Citigroup Theatre (at the Joan Weill Center for Dance/405 West 55th Street at 9th Avenue) and will present another exhilarating season of dance featuring the New York premieres of 'Unstable Ground," with commissioned music by Lois Vierk; "In Absentia" featuring new music by Kevin Keller; and "Outside In" with original music by Ben Doyle, as well as a revival performance of "Pigs and Fishes" and an excerpt from "Amor Fait" on Thursday, April 12th (8PM) for a limited engagement scheduled through April 14th.

Harold Pinter's celebrated play, THE BIRTHDAY PARTY, appears at the Jungle Theater for the first time and features an all-star cast, including Richard Ooms and Claudia Wilkens as Petey and Meg Boles, and Stephen Cartmell as Stanley Webber, the lone lodger in the Boles' shabby English boarding house. One of the great black comedies of the 20th century, The Birthday Party will be on stage April 6-May 13 at the Lyn-Lake theater, 2951 Lyndale Av. S., in Minneapolis.
