It is Done, the dark and dirty comedy/thriller by award-winning playwright Alex Goldberg about the secrets we keep, returns for a limited run at The Mean Fiddler Bar & Grill in midtown Manhattan on January 18, 19, 22, 23 & 24, 2012 only. Doors open at 6:30 for food and libations with a starting time of 7:30. Each ticket includes one free drink. Show time on Sunday, January 22 is at 2pm. Doors will open at 1pm.
During a howling windstorm, three strangers are trapped inside a desolate bar in the middle of nowhere. Hank the bartender has a dirty mind. Jonas, a man on the run, has a dirty secret. Ruby, marooned at the bar with car trouble, has a dirty job. This site-specific production is performed in the bowels of a Times Square bar with the tunes of Hank Williams running throughout. It is Done allows the audience to be flies on the wall in the middle of the action as the actors move among them.
It is Done is produced by 22Q Entertainment LLC, GO AlleyCat Productions and Associate Producer Joe Coots. The cast features CATIA OJEDA (30 Rock, Damages, Fringe, 101 Dalmatians National Tour), MATT KALMAN (The Girl From Monday, NTUSA, Today Will Be Yesterday Tomorrow) and EAN SHEEHY (Law & Order: Criminal Intent, HBO’s John Adams, The Notorious Bettie Page). The production is directed by TOM WOJTUNIK (Artistic Director, Astoria Performing Arts Center).
The Mean Fiddler Bar & Grill is located 266 West 47 Street, between Eight Ave and Broadway For more information on It is Done and to purchase tickets, visit www.ItIsDoneThePlay.com
