The singers of the Ryan Opera Center will conclude a year of study and performance with the end-of-season Rising Stars in Concert for Lyric Opera donors Saturday, March 31, at 7:30 p.m. in the Ardis Krainik Theatre of the Civic Opera House. Tickets for this concert are a benefit available only to Lyric Opera donors of $75 and above. It is not open to the public.

COMPATABILITY, AN 8 BIT MUSICAL, written by Orlando native Daniel Kaplan, will premiere on April 18th. The show is currently scheduled to be performed at the Lowndes Orlando Shakespeare Center from April 18-21 at 7:30p.m.

Broadway actor and photographer Cris Alexander passed away on March 7th due to natural causes, Variety reports. He was 92.

WYO/CTG will present a co-production of THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK MUSICAL directed by Matt Davis from March 23rd through April 2nd.

This season's third Musical Circus, presented in partnership between the Pasadena Symphony Association and The Americana at Brand in Glendale, is an interactive event where children can learn about drums that come in many sizes, shapes, and forms. Grammy nominated drummer Slammin Sammy K, from the Los Angeles Lakers Band, will lead children and families in a fun and rhythmic drum circle, musical games, and an "upbeat" performance.

Shakespeare in Action proudly presents its critically-acclaimed production of The Diary of Anne Frank by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, adapted by Wendy Kesselman. Opening March 15 and running to March 31, at the Al Green Theatre in the Miles Nadal JCC, the show coincides with March Break so that families can share the story together.
