Meadow Brook Theatre (MBT) is excited to announce its 3rd annual 'Feet for Seats,' a 5K fun run/walk on the campus of Oakland University. This fundraising event has been planned to raise awareness for the professional theatre, which has been located on OU's campus since 1966. 'In these tough economic times we need to rally around our local arts organizations and raise funds as well as awareness.' says managing director Cheryl Marshall, 'as a non-profit organization, events like Feet for Seats offer incredible support, and allow us to offer something truly great to our community.'

Passage Theatre Company, Trenton's only professional theater company, will present Houses of the Moon Theater Company's production of De Novo, a documentary theater piece about undocumented minors seeking asylum from U.S. immigration custody, for four performances only September 10, 11, 17 and 18 at the Mill Hill Playhouse, located at the corner of Front and Montgomery in downtown Trenton.

Full casting has been announced for the upcoming national tour of THE ADDAMS FAMILY, a new musical based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams. Rehearsals for the tour began last week in New York City. If the Oscars need a host, Billy Crystal, who hosted the show eight times between 1990 and 2004, would be willing. At the 20th anniversary screening of ‘City Slickers' in Santa Monica, a fan asked Crystal a question about the Academy Awards and he admitted that he got 'itchy' after his cameo during last year's ceremony.
