Seattle Repertory Theatre Artistic Director Jerry Manning announced today that Seattle writer Cheryl L. West's new play with music, Pullman Porter Blues, will be the season opener for the theatre's 50th Anniversary season, beginning fall 2012. GAN-e-meed Theatre Project's 1- Page Play Experiment encourages artists to fuse text, performance, and visual art to create a play on a single sheet of paper. IDENTITY is the theme for this second 1-Page-Play Experiment. GOD OF CARNAGE will Open on September 9 at the Artists Repertory Theatre. This 2009 Tony winner for Best Play tells the story of two sets of parents who meet to discuss a bullying incident in what they hoped would be a 'civilized manner. ' As the evening wears on that intent goes awry, and the play turns ferociously hilarious, shocking and disturbing, as the parents battle for ethical superiority.

The International City Theatre will present Private Lives - Noël Coward's stylish, savvy comedy about the people we can't live with - or without. Divorcés Amanda and Elyot meet up again quite by accident while on their second honeymoons, with brand-new spouses in tow. Fireworks fly as their reunion reveals just how quickly romance - and rivalry - can be rekindled.

Cape Rep Theatre will continue its 26th Season on September 15 with the World Premiere of Maura Hanlon's Good Bye Mary Rose. Hanlon will also direct. Performances will continue through October 16.
