Psittacus Productions, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit theater and multimedia company, is proud to announce that the critically acclaimed 'CYCLOPS: A ROCK OPERA,' will be presented at the New York Musical Theatre Festival this fall, starting September 29th at the 47th Street Theatre in midtown Manhattan. Featuring an original score of 24 genre-bending songs written by LA-based musicians Jayson Landon Marcus and Benjamin Sherman, 'CYCLOPS' is a fast-paced, rock n' roll musical re-imagining of the only surviving Greek Satyr Play, the story of Odysseus' encounter with the monstrous Cyclops, and his adventures with the loud and crude rock band The Satyrs.
