The Superpower Horns announce their extensive collaboration with pop megastar Beyonce Knowles on her new album, ‘4'. They also play Rockwood Music Hall, Stage 2 on Monday, August 29th at 7:30pm!

Over the last year, The Superpower Horns worked one-on-one with Beyonce, writing and recording numerous horn arrangements for her fourth studio album. Adding their sound throughout the record, they also appear with pop notables Shea Taylor, Kanye West, Diplo and Andre 3000, all of whom produced or guested on tracks for Beyonce. When asked about the horn section, Beyonce recently gushed, "those guys are genius!"

In addition, The Superpower Horns are a house horn section at legendary Roc-A-Fella Records and have recently collaborated with the likes of Curren$y, Jean Grae, Mos Def, Devin the Dude and notable producer Ski Beatz.

The Superpower Horns began playing together as members of internationally recognized neo-Afrobeat band, The Superpowers. Formed in Boston in 2005, The Superpowers released two records between 2005 and 2009, toured internationally and played over 400 shows, receiving accolades far and wide, including winning both the 2007 Boston Phoenix Best Music Poll and the 2006 Boston Music Awards for Best World Music Act.

Members of The Superpower Horns perform regularly with numerous internationally recognized groups including: John Brown's Body, Slavic Soul Party!, Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds, Meta and the Cornerstones, People's Champs, Cuddle Magic and many others.
