The Mastersons are singer-songwriters/multi-instrumentalists Chris Masterson and Eleanor Whitmore. When they're not touring the world as valued longtime members of Steve Earle's band the Dukes, the musical and marital twosome make inspired albums of their own emotionally vivid, deeply humanistic songs. The duo's fourth set of original compositions is the appropriately titled NO TIME FOR LOVE SONGS, out March 6, 2019 on Red House Records. 

Today marks the debut of the official music video for Keith Urban's first Christmas song, “I'll Be Your Santa Tonight.”  Co-written with Shane McAnally, Urban describes the track as “classic in its melody, retro 50s vibe in its structure.”

The new seven-song album, available January 17th, 2020, was recorded in between tour dates in Fruition drummer Tyler Thompson's newly constructed home studio, and like Fruition's past releases, this collection of songs won't fit into one box. Although it's a challenge to categorize, Broken at the Break of Day feels whole because of the band's dedication to honesty as well as harmony. Working as perfect companion pieces, both Wild as the Night and Broken at the Break of Day will be released together on 180g vinyl in January, giving listeners the option to hear the two newest Fruition releases as a collective body of work in this playlist-focused era. Amazon today announced the first scripted Australian Amazon Original series, Back to the Rafters, which will launch on Prime Video in Australia and around the world in more than 200 countries and territories.

Netflix, world's leading internet entertainment service, announces FOLLOWERS will be launched globally on February 27, 2020 as the first Japanese live action original series coming next year. FOLLOWERS is the first drama series directed by Mika Ninagawa (Diner, No Longer Human) and highlights her unique approach to filming with dreamlike vivid colors, along with distinct and vibrant aesthetic. It is an original story that depicts Tokyo with the authentic fashion and lifestyles of women living there, starring Miki Nakatani, Elaiza Ikeda and more talented casts.

 HBO Max has greenlit the half-hour dramedy, Generation, which marks the streamer's first pilot to get a full series order. The series is created by 18-year old Zelda Barnz and her father Daniel Barnz who also directs. Executive produced by Lena Dunham and Ben Barnz, Generation is a dark yet playful half-hour following a group of high school students whose exploration of modern sexuality (devices and all) tests deeply entrenched beliefs about life, love and the nature of family in their conservative community.

Los Angeles-based artist Sea Wolf has released a moving new track titled “Fear of Failure”, his first new music in four years. Showcasing lush, indie/folk melodies and carefully crafted lyrics, “Fear of Failure” is a raw, contemplative song that highlights the power in vulnerability and bravery in the face of fear. CLASH featured it today, noting “The arrangement is sparse and the vocal pointed, the lyric driving the issue home with relentless honesty.”
