For the fourth quarter of 2019 (late September – December 2019) with Nielsen live plus 7-day ratings, THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT beat its closest competition (“The Tonight Show”) by +83% in viewers (3.69m versus 2.02m). THE LATE SHOW was also tops in adults 25-54 (0.7 versus 0.6 for “Tonight”) and in adults 18-49 (0.5 versus 0.4 for “Tonight”). This marks the first fourth quarter THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT is in sole possession of first place in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 rating.

CBS took the ratings crown for the first week of the new year, kicking off the second half of the season with a strong performance. For the week ending Sunday, Jan. 5 (week 15 of the 2019-2020 broadcast season), the Network attracted 7.79 million viewers, beating the closest competition (NBC, which had the Golden Globes) by over +1 million viewers (6.63 million, +18%). This was CBS' largest weekly audience since the week ending April 7, 2019.

 CW Seed, The CW's free, ad-supported digital network, has acquired the second window, non-exclusive streaming rights to 14 series from BBC Studios. The power of love knows no bounds as ABC further expands its hit-making Bachelor franchise with an all-new Bachelor Nation series, “The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart,” set to premiere MONDAY, APRIL 13 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT). This new project is announced on the heels of a successful summer run, with “The Bachelorette” ranking as summer's No. 1 TV series among Adults 18-49, and “Bachelor in Paradise” finishing as Monday's No. 2 series of the summer, behind only “The Bachelorette.”

ABC is bringing back the classic TV game show “Supermarket Sweep,” hosted and executive produced by Emmy® Award-nominated comedienne and actress Leslie Jones. Produced by Fremantle, the fast-paced and energetic series follows three teams of two as they battle it out using their grocery shopping skills and knowledge of merchandise to win big cash prizes. The original format aired on ABC from 1965-1967 and went on to become a global sensation. It was adapted in 13 international territories and, most recently, relaunched in the UK. “thirtysomething(else),” a sequel to the groundbreaking series “thirtysomething,” has received a pilot pickup from ABC. The show will follow an ensemble of new faces playing the grown-up, 30-something children of the original cast reprised by Ken Olin (Michael Steadman), Mel Harris (Hope Murdoch), Timothy Busfield (Elliot Weston) and Patty Wettig (Nancy Weston). Apparently, raising children (even grown children) never ends, but who could have known how hard it would be for them to raise their parents? 

Juliana Hatfield releases her video for “Can't Stand Losing You” directed by Rachel Lichtman (Network 77) today. It is the first track on her most recent covers project Juliana Hatfield Sings The Police which debuted in the Billboard Top 200 upon release in November.

Rockwood Music Hall announced their 15-Year Anniversary Celebration, set to kick off on February 1, 2020. This milestone will be a month-long celebration of the venue's history and growth since opening its doors in January 2005 and becoming a mainstay of Manhattan's live music scene. Rockwood Music Hall will celebrate their 15-year anniversary with a series of performances highlighting the artists who have helped to build Rockwood's reputation, and honoring the live music fans who have made it all possible.
