A delightful family comedy, 'Over the River and Through the Woods' is about four grandparents who will do whatever it takes to keep their only grandson from moving from New Jersey to Seattle to take a new job. On Saturday June 14th, pop, jazz, and musical theatre stars from all over the world joined forces at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto to perform in 'If I Loved You: Gentlemen Prefer Broadway,' a concert showcasing and redefining love songs from classic Broadway musicals. For the finale, the cast, which included David Byrne, Boy George, Ezra Koenig (Vampire Weekend), Josh Groban, Brent Carver, Steven Page, Brennan Hall and concert organizer Rufus Wainwright, sang their own rendition of 'Summer Nights' from Grease.

Dallas Summer Musicals, Inc. (DSM) announced their 2014/2015 season of shows at Fair Park Thursday June 12. Heavy rain forecasts moved the 75-Year kickoff event from the Fair Park Band Shell where DSM first performed their shows to the nearby Centennial Building. DSM has been bringing the Best of Broadway to North Texas audiences with the finest in professional live theatrical entertainment since 1941.

Saturday June 7th was a spectacular day for Houston residents Brian Hampton and Keith Huckabay. The partners of 13 years, who consider NYC their second home, got married at Cop Cot in Central Park surrounded by family and friends. Some of these friends happened to double as Broadway stars, so the wedding was inevitably filled with singing, dancing, and showtunes.
