Today, 20 May 2012, the National Theatre's award-winning production of One Man, Two Guvnors releases over 100, 000 new tickets for sale in the West End, taking bookings at the Theatre Royal Haymarket to 12 January 2013. Earlier this week Richard Bean's award-wining adaptation, based on Carlo Goldoni's The Servant of Two Masters, triumphed on Broadway in Nicholas Hytner's five star production.

This May, Southern Rep will presents two shows at the Contemporary Arts Center: the final production of their 2011-2012 25th Anniversary Season, SHIRLEY VALENTINE by Willy Russell, a one-woman play starring Ricky Graham; and ACADEMY SRT Children's Theatre Series THE VELVETEEN RABBIT, story by Margery Williams, play by Thomas W. Olsen, directed by Ann Mahoney Kadar. Recently displaced from their home of 20 years at Canal Place, they have received support from the Contemporary Arts Center's Performance Support Program.

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company have announced their season line up for 2012-13, featuring a variety of Shakespeare plays and literary adaptations as well as THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST. On tour 2012-13 will be Two Hour's Traffic's productions of THE TEMPEST and MACBETH, beginning August 5.

The Genesis Repertory company is expanding to utilize two theaters - their studio theater at Bay 44th, which has become an Equity Showcase 99-seat theater when needed; and now a 650-seat theater on 27th Avenue with it's own entrance, private bathrooms, dressing areas, and kitchen/concession to be renovated to accommodate full-scale musical and contract productions.

Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and the Performing Arts is proud to announce the world premiere of Life Of The Party, a light opera for dark times. Actors' Theatre of Columbus will be transforming German Village's Schiller Park into Sherwood Forest for its Annual Tent Dinner on Thursday evening, May 24th. In the offing is the world premiere of Robin Hood, of English folklore fame, which was written for Actors' Theatre by local playwright Philip J. Hickman.
