Created by the award-winning Daniele Finzi Pasca, who wrote and directed Cirque du Soleil's acclaimed Corteo as well the Broadway hit Rain, Donka offers an intoxicating marriage of wit and wonder, surrealism and pure escapism.

Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and the Performing Arts is proud to announce the world premiere of Life Of The Party, a light opera for dark times. Following the huge success of last year's production of Kismet, director Paul Lincoln and the LaGuardia High School Opera Workshop tackle this completely original work, written and composed by Tony Award nominees Laurence O'Keefe (Legally Blonde, Bat Boy) and Nell Benjamin (Legally Blonde, Pirates!). The show plays a strictly limited run, with performances May 3rd, 4th and 5th at 7:30pm and May 6th at 2:00pm.

Actors' Theatre of Columbus will be transforming German Village's Schiller Park into Sherwood Forest for its Annual Tent Dinner on Thursday evening, May 24th. In the offing is the world premiere of Robin Hood, of English folklore fame, which was written for Actors' Theatre by local playwright Philip J. Hickman.

The Boston College Theatre Department concludes its year-long celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Robsham Theater Arts Center with an exciting new production of William Shakespeare's classic comedy, A Midsummer Night's Dream. Directed by BC Adjunct Associate Professor of Theatre Luke Jorgensen, the production takes inspiration from the romance and spectacle of Bollywood movies, and shifts the action from Shakespeare's mythical Athens to an equally mythical colonial India--complete with fairies inspired by Indian deities, elaborate costumes, and big Bollywood dance sequences. Performances will take place on Robsham's Mainstage April 26-29, 2012 as part of the 14th annual Boston College Arts Festival.

Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts has invited kids and their families to take part in a free interactive performance of Polyglot Theatre's We Built This City on Mother's Day weekend, Saturday and Sunday, May 12-13.
