The Arvada Center has announced its seven-play season that includes four diverse musicals, three comedies, a continued collaboration with one of Colorado's critically acclaimed theater companies and a regional premiere.

It was announced today that JERSEY BOYS - The Story of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons - has smashed the all-time box office record for a second week of trading by taking in excess of $NZ1.9 million gross, beating previous records by over $NZ500,000. This phenomenal demonstration of support by New Zealanders for this internationally acclaimed musical falls at the same time that JERSEY BOYS notches up its 1,000th performance in Australasia on Thursday 26 April.

Directed by Mark Haborth and produced by Heather Siobhan Curran, The Gallery Players' revival of this classic New York musical comedy opens Saturday, April 28 at 8pm.

Walkabout Theater has announced the world premiere of CROW, created and performed by theater artist Jeremy Sher and directed by Scott Bradley. Performances take place at Victory Gardens Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Ave., from May 30 - June 17. The opening is Friday, June 1st at 8:00 p.m.

Dialogue with Three Chords will present two brand new short plays from playwright Stephen Gracia: "For the Prettiest One" and "Discomfiture" on April 26 at 8pm, at the 'Den at Dennehy's,' downstairs at Mr. Dennehy's pub on 63 Carmine Street in Manhattan. Admission is free with a $3 suggested donation.

The national tour of THE ADDAMS FAMILY, a new musical comedy based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams, makes its Denver premiere at The Buell Theatre June 19-July 1. Tickets are now on sale.

The Tony, Grammy, and Olivier Award-winning musical JERSEY BOYS will make its much-anticipated return to Providence to play the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 through Sunday, September 2, 2012. Tickets will go on sale Sunday, May 6 at 8am.

A Memorial Tribute honoring THEODORE MANN, Circle in the Square's Co-Founder, Artistic Director, and Co-Producer, who passed away on February 24 at the age of 87, will be held at Circle in the Square Theatre, 1633 Broadway, at 50th Street, on Tuesday, May 1, at 1 p.m. Seating is open to the general public on a first come, first-served basis.

The Montclair Operetta Club, one of the country's oldest continuously-operating community theatres celebrating its 87th season, will present Sweet Charity on April 20, 21, 27, & 28 at 8pm, and April 22 & 29 at 2pm at the Bloomfield College Westminster Arts Center, 449 Franklin St. Bloomfield, NJ 07003. Since Nina's last live performances in early 2011, she has been busy film-making, the fruits of which can soon be seen on BBC4. A Ventriloquist's Story - Her Master's Voice (winner of the audience award at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas) and Make Me Happy: A Monkey's Search for Happiness will be broadcast in June (tbc).

Life is imitating art for leading man Raza Jaffrey, as CHICAGO producer, Barry Weissler spotted him in the new Steven Spielberg TV series Smash, and immediately offered him the role of Billy Flynn in the West End production of the musical. He will star in CHICAGO at the Garrick Theatre from 16 May to 14 July, playing the role between present Billy, David Bedella, who leaves the cast on 12 May, and Olympian Robin Cousins, who joins on 17 July.

York Theatre Company will present the first New York City revival of the classic Off-Broadway hit Closer Than Ever with Lyrics by Richard Maltby, Jr. and Music by David Shire. Performances begin Tuesday, June 5, 2012 for a limited run through July 14, 2012 at The York Theatre at Saint Peter's (Citicorp Building, entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

The Lyceum Theatre Company, Scotland's largest producing theatre, has announced its 2012/2013 Season. Collaborations National Theatre of Scotland, Citizens Theatre, Dundee Rep Theatre and Chichester Festival Theatre as well as in-house productions will present more than seventy actors in seven plays, three of which are world premieres. Highlights of the season include THE GUID SISTERS, trasnlated into Scots from the original French, TAKING OVER THE ASYLUM by Donna Franceschild and a new commission from David Haig which has yet to be titled.

On Saturday 5th May 2012 at 5.45pm, Richard Bean will discuss writing ONE MAN, TWO GUVONRS at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in conversation with Dan Rebellato, fellow playwright and Professor of Contemporary Theatre at Royal Holloway, University of London. The hit show, currently running on both Broadway and the West End, stars James Corden.

Northern Broadsides has announced that the final actor to play the cameo role of Marcade the messenger in their critically acclaimed production of Love's Labour's Lost will be Lenny Henry. Lenny will be joining the 16 strong cast at the final two performances of the production's national tour at York Theatre Royal on Saturday 5 May at 2.30pm & 7.30pm.

Following its run at the Landor Theatre, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, based on Dickens' final unfinished novel, with book, music and lyrics by Rupert Holmes, directed by Matthew Gould, will get a 4-week season at the Arts Theatre from Friday 18 May - Sunday 17 June. The opening night is on Tuesday 22 May at 7.30pm.
