Octavarius has announced a one-night-only show "Stars! Wars! The Musical" on Friday, March 9 at 8pm in the Mercury Theater. The musical tells the story of "Star Wars: A New Hope" with original song and dance numbers, accompanied by a live band.

Following the musical, Octavarius will perform their signature nefarious improv set with robot R2D2.

Individuals who dress like characters from the epic film, or bring a lightsaber, will gain a discounted admission fee.

Octavarius's current run, Sundays at 7pm at ComedySportz through February 26, totals 35 weeks and is one of the longest running independent improv shows at the theater. Each show has a theme for which the group and audience dress up. Videos, improv, sketches and music inspired by the week's theme come together to create a unique show each week. The Monday before each show, Octavarius hosts a live interactive podcast, where they explore the week's theme. They also create videos, music, blog posts on their site and more!
