Following their postponement due to an illness in the cast, the Bakehouse Theatre have released revised dates for EDUCATING RITA, which will now play Thursday May 10 & Friday May 11 (Previews), Saturday May 12 (Opening Night) and then May 16, 17, 18, 19, 23, 24, 25, 26.

Pantochino Productions Inc, Connecticut's award-winning non-profit theatre company has released a 'Sneak Peek' of it's anticipated second season. Specializing in original musical theatre for family audiences, the recent announcement includes the surprise addition of an 'After Dark' series for mature audiences as well.

At the Non-Equity Jeff Awards Ceremony on June 4, 2012, a Special Jeff Award will be presented to the Theater on the Lake of the Chicago Park District in honor of the theater's 60th anniversary in June 2012 and in recognition of its long contribution to the vitality of the city's theatre scene.

To raise money for music and children's charities, concert pianist Anthony Hewitt - the Olympianist - will cycle with piano 'in tow' from Land's End to John O'Groats to complete 1,200 miles in 21 days. With a piano trailing in the BeethoVAN, the avid cyclist will cover up to 100 miles a day, giving 27 concerts en route. The Herculean journey across Britain's hilly countryside will see Anthony ascend more than 20,000 metres - the equivalent of more than twice the elevation of Mt. Everest. He will perform in established venues and remote locations with his piano on a pop-up stage on the back of the BeethoVAN.

In June, TheatreWorks New Milford will present GOLDA'S BALCONY by William Gibson, the engrossing one-woman production centered on the first female prime minister of Israel.

The Donmar Warehouse production of "Red" By John Logan, featuring Jonathan Groff and Alfred Molina, directed by Michael Grandage, will begin previews on August 1 and open August 12 at Center Theatre Group/Mark Taper Forum. The show will continue through September 9 on Tuesday through Friday at 8 p.m.; Saturday at 2:30 and 8 p.m.; Sunday at 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

The theatrics of Broadway are coming to the California African American Museum (CAAM) during their Target Sundays program, Broadway Bound, on Sunday, May 6, 2012, from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. The event co-hosted by two-time Obie Award winner, Charlayne Woodard and actor Jeffrey Anderson-Gunter will feature veteran actors, singers and dancers of Broadway and an art workshop, hosted by local artist and educator Teresa Tolliver, beginning at noon.

Award-winning composer of stage and screen Matthew Strachan will perform an evening of his music and lyrics including several of his songs from Nashville and numbers from his stage musicals for one night only at The Pheasantry, 152 King's?Road, Chelsea, on Sunday 15 July at 8pm. Live Theatre and Soho Theatre have announced that following its critically acclaimed sell-out double run at Live Theatre, Newcastle and Soho Theatre, A WALK ON PART: THE FALL OF NEW LABOUR will transfer to the Arts Theatre in London's West End, with John Hodgkinson reprising his highly acclaimed role as Chris Mullin, from Tuesday 19 June to Saturday 14 July. Opening night is Tuesday 26 June, 7.30pm.

What if, one by one, all your friends and family started turning into rhinoceroses? That's the unlikely premise explored by the Children's Theatre of Charlotte's Ensemble Company. Made up of talented high school actors, the Ensemble Company will present Eugene Ionesco's "Rhinoceros" May 10-12 in the Wells Fargo Playhouse at ImaginOn.

A mix of verbal jousting, slapstick and romance is set to bring MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING to The Court Theatre's Addington stage from May 19 to June 9. Lisa Chappell (McLeod's Daughters, The Cult) and Roy Snow (Go Girls, Shortland Street) star in one of Shakespeare's most-loved romantic comedies. A cast of 21 actors makes this production the largest staged at The Court's new theatre.

Berkeley Playhouse has announced its next KidStage production, HONK! JR. This movement-based spectacular tells the story of a woman combating a variety of sleep disorders, phantasmagorical night terrors, hypnotic horrors, and other, visually stunning conjurings from the subconscious depths of her own disturbed mind. Symphony of Shadows merges striking elements of circus and aerial arts, dance and movement, burlesque, and operatic productions to vividly illustrate its storyline in a genre defying form, which 'evokes a live-action silent film.'
