Live Theatre and Soho Theatre have announced that following its critically acclaimed sell-out double run at Live Theatre, Newcastle and Soho Theatre, A WALK ON PART: THE FALL OF NEW LABOUR will transfer to the Arts Theatre in London's West End, with John Hodgkinson reprising his highly acclaimed role as Chris Mullin, from Tuesday 19 June to Saturday 14 July. Opening night is Tuesday 26 June, 7.30pm.

A mix of verbal jousting, slapstick and romance is set to bring MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING to The Court Theatre's Addington stage from May 19 to June 9. Lisa Chappell (McLeod's Daughters, The Cult) and Roy Snow (Go Girls, Shortland Street) star in one of Shakespeare's most-loved romantic comedies. A cast of 21 actors makes this production the largest staged at The Court's new theatre.

Based on the Olivier award- winning production of Honk!, this retelling of Hans Christian Andersen's The Ugly Duckling is a bright musical comedy for all ages, full of humor, charm, and a message of tolerance. The show runs Saturday, June 2, 2pm and 7pm; Sunday, June 3, 12pm and 5pm at the Julia Morgan Theatre, 2640 College Avenue, Berkeley.

Dixon Place will present the world premiere of Rachel Klein's Symphony of Shadows: A Tale From the Land Beyond the Veil on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from June 8 to at 7:30pm at Dixon Place / 161A Chrystie Street. This movement-based spectacular tells the story of a woman combating a variety of sleep disorders, phantasmagorical night terrors, hypnotic horrors, and other, visually stunning conjurings from the subconscious depths of her own disturbed mind. Symphony of Shadows merges striking elements of circus and aerial arts, dance and movement, burlesque, and operatic productions to vividly illustrate its storyline in a genre defying form, which 'evokes a live-action silent film.'

Its run has been extended to run May 11 through May 27. This award winning family musical is based on the beloved classic novel of the same name, written by Frances Hodgson Burnett. THE SECRET GARDEN features Steve Tewksbury (Broadway: PHANTOM OF THE OPERA and MISS SAIGON) and Kristoffer Lowe (Broadway: ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY and CHESS in CONCERT).

Stage Entertainment, in cooperation with Disney Theatrical Productions, will present the Dutch premiere of The Little Mermaid, which premiered on Broadway in 2007. After presenting Tarzan, Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King, the Netherlands is the first country to scoop the European premiere of the Disney musical. Disney's The Little Mermaid opens on Saturday May 12, premiering at Martini Plaza in Groningen and then playing larger theaters in the Netherlands. Check out the trailer video below.
