La Boite today announced the cancellation of four performances of their current Griffin Theatre co-production of A Hoax to allow actor Shari Sebbens to travel to the Cannes Film Festival for the Gala Screening of anticipated new Australian film The Sapphires.

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company concludes its eighteenth season with William Shakespeare's "The Merchant of Venice" opening May 11. This production features CSC Producing Artistic Director Brian Isaac Phillips as Shylock, CSC Ensemble Member Kelly Mengelkoch as Portia and introducing to Cincinnati audiences, Jared Joplin as Antonio, the Merchant of Venice. Nordoff Robbins, the national specialist music charity, has announced today that Jessie J and Andrew Lloyd Webber will reunite as they both win 2012 Nordoff Robbins O2 Silver Clef Awards. The O2 Silver Clef Awards is hosted by Nordoff Robbins at the London Hilton on Park Lane, on Friday June 29th. Shakespeare Orange County has announced their 21st season: Richard III, Venus and Adonis and Much Ado About Nothing. Richard III will feature John Walcutt in the title role with Carl Reggiardo directing the production. According to Producing Artistic Director, Thomas F. Bradac, "2012 promises to be the most ambitious season in our twenty one year old history." Bradac will direct both Venus and Adonis and Much Ado About Nothing. The award winning company performs in the 550-seat Festival Amphitheatre in Garden Grove, CA.

The Des Moines Community Playhouse presents 'The Brementown Musicians,' Friday, May 18. This story is part of the 2011-12 season of Friday Funday, a creative participatory story theatre program for children ages 4-6. The Provincetown Tennessee Williams Theater Festival will announce the program for this year's theme, Tennessee Williams and Music, at its first gala fundraising dinner on June 2, 2012.
