THE BALLAD OF DIDO Set for April 21-29 at Studio 1831
By: James T Harding
Bad Quarto Productions will present the new musical The Ballad of Dido at Philadelphia's Studio 1831 at 1831 Brandywine St. Show on April 21 and April 28 at 8 PM, and April 22 and April 29 at 2 PM.
About the show: "THE BALLAD OF DIDO combines American roots music with the classical myth of Dido, the legendary queen of Carthage, to tell the tale of hope, faith, and love during an ongoing global conflict. History has remembered Dido as a strong leader, shrewd politician, original crazy ex-girlfriend, paragon of virtue, and a goddess, but in this new musical, she sings her own song."
