Currently spending his time between New York and Florida, Beau was born to a theatrical family in Brooklyn. He studied drama at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute and at HB Studios. He studied theater singing with Julia Sperratore and Helen Gallagher. Beau later taught drama at the Lincoln Center Square for the Arts. It was at this time Beau began working with the Theater Development Fund and helped found New York's famed HALF PRICE TICKET BOOTH. Early in his career, Beau was screen tested and contracted for Warner Brothers. He co-hosted, an early cable variety series on Manhattan's Teleprompter channel. At this time he directed the Johnny Specca musical, SEX IS..? at the Lincoln Center Library Theater. Beau has performed Off-Broadway in FAT FELL DOWN, The Comic Strip Theater's LITTLE LULU AND THE INVISIBLE INK and WILL THE REAL ZOOPERMAN PLEASE STAND UP. Around the country he has delighted audiences with his performances in ANYTHING GOES, THE APPLE TREE, GUYS & DOLLS, and HELLZAPOPPIN! He sang for New York audiences at such cabarets as The Duplex and Upstairs at the Downstairs. He has had numerous television appearances but is most proud to have been a winning contestant on the game shows JACKPOT and THE $20,000 PYRAMID.

Clavelli, Powers and Burttram have each appeared extensively with Florida Rep, and all three were seen in last season's Dancing at Lughnasa. Clavelli & Burttram make their first appearance of many this season in Opus, while Powers takes his final bow after beginning the season with Boeing-Boeing and Dial 'M' for Murder. Nowicki and Davies each make their second appearance with Florida Rep in Opus. Seen in last season's Art of Murder, Nowicki has worked extensively in film and television, and appeared in Opus with Orlando Shakespeare Theatre in 2008. Mr. Davies, a long-time company member with Cincinnati Shakespeare, is now a Florida based actor who made his Florida Rep debut earlier this season Dial 'M' for Murder.

The Cameron Mackintosh/Really Useful Theatre Company, Inc. production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera, directed by Harold Prince, will make a return to South Florida as a major presentation of the 2009-2010 theatrical season when it opens Wednesday, December 23, brings in New Year 2010, and runs through Sunday, January 17. Well remembered by local theater goers for its phenomenal run when it opened on February 26, 1991 as the premiere presentation of the newly built theater, this 4-week run will mark another landmark presentation as a major 'special' of Broadway Across America-Ft. I never imagined that a one man play starring and written by the comedian Billy Crystal, would make me cry more than any other play I have ever seen. It was magic last night as '700 Sundays' opened at the Arscht Center. Within moments of its beginning, Mr. Crystal had us all in the palm of his hand. Heck, I believe he has all in attendance wishing they were part of his family or had at least grown up with him.

Michael Frayn is an English playwright and novelist. He began as a reporter for The Guardian and The Observer after graduating college in 1957. His first novel, The Tin Men, was published in 1965 winning him his first of many accolades. His other award winning novels include Headlong, The Russian Interpreter and Spies. Considered to be Britain's finest translator of Anton Chekhov, he adapted four major plays along with several smaller plays for an evening called The Sneeze in London in 1988. Theatrically, Frayn is the playwright for such well received plays including Noises Off, Benefactors, Wild Honey and Democracy.
