Esme Patterson is returning with her first new music in almost four years, since her critically acclaimed 2016 album We Were Wild, with the laid back synth-laden dream-pop track “Light In Your Window”. The song marks her first for BMG and was recorded with fellow Coloradans Tennis in their garage in Denver. Patterson eschews the folk influences on her earlier recordings, which lead to her partnership with Tennis and has spawned this at once raw yet expansive and captivating sound. A natural evolution from her last album the new song leans even further into dream pop, R&B and indie rock. “Light In Your Window” delves into complicated desire, the desire for a person, a feeling, a space in time that no longer exists, and the desire to move on. Patterson holds these seemingly contradictory feelings, playing with them on the song. Speaking to the genesis of the track Patterson says;

MCA Nashville's Jordan Davis has teamed up with GRAMMY-nominated artist Julia Michaels for a new collaboration titled “Cool Anymore.” Written by Jordan and Julia along with Nicolle Galyon, Ross Copperman and Emily Weisband, the track encourages listeners to let their guard down and just be themselves. Jordan and Julia also premiered a special video for “Cool Anymore” with YouTube today, Nov. 8. The video was directed by Eric Ryan Anderson, who shot Jordan's previous videos for his back-to-back No.1 Platinum hits “Singles You Up” and “Take It From Me.”

BMG and Niji Entertainment Group Inc. have partnered to reissue DIO's 1996 - 2004 studio albums: Angry Machines (1996), Magica (2000), Killing The Dragon (2002), and Master Of The Moon (2004). These newly remastered versions feature rare and never before released live and studio bonus tracks, and were remastered by longtime DIO collaborator Wyn Davis with updated artwork from frequent DIO designer Marc Sasso.

Bedroom pop artist Aunty Social announces her debut EP, The Day My Brain Broke, will be released on March 6th, 2020. The Day My Brain Broke was written during a pivotal and cathartic time for Aunty Social (real name Daniela Gitto), with each song chronicling a chapter of her evolution as she worked her way out of a toxic lifestyle — computer, mic, and MIDI in hand. All of the artwork was self-created by collaging mixed media with older personal family photos to help honestly illustrate her feelings and experiences behind the music.

Duluth, MN's Social Animals have announced their signing to Rise Records with the release of new single “Bad Things” and accompanying music video. Inspired by a superstition amongst friends – which singer/guitarist Dedric Clark refers to as “a Midwestern version of Murphy's Law” – “Bad Things” showcases moody synth tones and luminous guitar lines weaved around haunting melodies and introspective lyrics (You don't get used to an empty room/You just to get used hearing voices running over all the choices you have made). “In the Midwest, I think we're born with a looming fear that when things are going your way, they will take a turn for the worse soon after. Probably a side effect of the long winters,” Clark further explains.
