In 2006, hot from her seven-year stint as head writer at Saturday Night Live, Tina Fey made her first appearance as Liz Lemon on televisions across the country on 30 Rock. Reminiscent of Fey's previous television show, Lemon was the head writer and creator of the sketch comedy show The Girlie Show, later shortened to TGS. She tries to “have it all” and throughout the seven seasons and 138 episodes of 30 Rock, she eventually does find fulfillment in both her familial, friend and work relationships – but not with trials and tribulations.

Marseille-based electropop artist French 79, aka Simon Henner, just announced a spring tour in the US and Canada, which will take him through Los Angeles, Brooklyn and beyond. Metal quintet Wars have announced the release of two brand new tracks, 'Only Monsters' and 'A Fog of Feeling'. The two songs are being released under the collective title 'Chapter One' and are the first installment of the band's second album A Hundred Shivers, which will be released next year.

Critically acclaimed North Carolina-based singer/songwriter Sarah Siskind will release Modern Appalachia, her first full-length album in nine years, on April 17. The video for the album's first single, “In The Mountains,” debuts today.

Landover, Maryland's own Black Fortune is back with a new track and video for “Nothing To Lose.” “The meaning and inspiration behind the track just comes from me growing up not having much,' Black Fortune explains. 'I had nine brothers and sisters, my mom was working hard but we were still on welfare, my dad was battling his drug addiction – all of that left me with not very much, and even just wanting some of the basic things I had to go get it on my own... I had the mentality of 'I have nothing to lose.' I already didn't have s**t so what was the worse that was gonna happen, you know? It was either go get it or be left with nothing.”

Rising singer, rapper, multi-instrumentalist and producer Jack Bruno, who cooks up his own punked-up and gothed-out style of hip-hop, has dropped his new single 'Someday (Before U Get Bored)' featuring The Strokes. The high-energy rock/rap hybrid inspired by The Strokes' hit 'Someday,'available via Winning Team Music, was produced by Bruno and mixed by Neil Avron[Fall Out Boy, Twenty One Pilots]. The official music video for the track is directed by Logan Meis [Trippie Redd, Khalid, Lil Yachty]. 'Someday (Before U Get Bored)' will appear on a forthcoming EP, due out this spring. 

Today Amsterdamn's The Mauskovic Dance Band announce their forthcoming EP Shadance Hall, which will be their first release of 2020 and their debut on Dekmantel Records, out March 30th. On Shadance Hall, they concoct a tantalising brew of no-wave, psych rock, cumbia, power dub and numerous other colourful shades of global grooves. The full release drops on March 30th, but the dub versions of the EP will be digitally available today. 

British songwriter Luke De-Sciscio will release his debut full-length album Good Bye Folk Boy on March 13, as he embarks on his first-ever U.S. run of shows. His performance schedule is packed, with 12 sets lined up between The New Colossus Festival in New York City (3/12-15) and SXSW in Austin (3/19-22).

John Dolmayan, the iconic drummer of GRAMMY® Award-winning, multiplatinum Los Angeles quartet System Of A Down, has released his debut solo album, These Grey Men.
