It's a very busy time in Eggland right now. Since the release of their last album 'This Is Eggland' in 2017, The Lovely Eggs have sat back and watched the world mutate and slowly eat itself. However, rather than remaining frozen in despair, they have used their relentless analysis of a modern culture that is bringing the world to its knees and poured every bit of inspired anger, contempt and hysterical laughter into new album 'I am Moron'.

Four years after his debut release for the label, Oxygen Thief's Barry Dolan will be reviving his parallel alter-ego for a new studio release: 'Non Canon II' (out 15th May 2020). 

Returning to the road for what promises to be his biggest North American headline run to date, G Herbo embarks on the PTSD Tour this winter. The jaunt begins February 27 in Brooklyn, NY at Brooklyn Steel, plays major cities coast-to-coast for five weeks, and comes to a close at House of Blues in Cleveland, OH on April 7.

Vancouver-based soul-Americana artist Frazey Ford will release her third album U kin B the Sun this Friday, February 7 on Arts & Crafts. The acclaimed new album is at turns ecstatic and heavy-hearted, gloriously shambolic and deeply purifying. Debuted with FLOOD today, Ford's hypnotic vocals soar over a percussion-soaked groove on new album single “Holdin' It Down”. The powerful track brings a confident determination to its expression of weary perseverance. 'I would say that 'Holdin' It Down' is influenced by Angie Stone circa 2002,” explains Ford. “To me it's about an embodied sense of female resilience and self reliance through generations mixed with the urge to rest and trust in another.' 

For the last two years, The Lovely Eggs have watched England and the rest of the world slowly crumble. Their new album I am Moron, due out April 3 on Egg Records, contains their observations and relentless analysis of a modern culture that has brought humanity to its knees.

In partnership with Amazon Music, Kamasi Washington will unveil a new film, Kamasi Washington Live at The Apollo Theater, this Thursday, February 6 via Amazon Prime Video. The film, directed by Michael Garber and recorded at Washington's February 2019 headline show at the iconic theater, features Washington performing songs from his critically acclaimed releases The Epic, Harmony of Difference and Heaven and Earth alongside his much lauded band The Next Step and guests including DJ Battlecat and vocalist Dwight Trible. Intimate shots of Washington preparing for the show and visiting Harlem landmarks are throughout, offering insight into the tremendous artist's process.

Emerging country artist Tim Montana continues to bring the heat with his new single “Bury Me By the Bonfire,” released on Friday. Alongside Montana, the single was co-written with Mat Best, Jarred Taylor and CJ Solar, and produced by Micah Wilshire. With a unique blend of country and rock elements, the powerful single transports listeners to Montana's hallowed bonfire.

The Highway Women released their music video 'God Made Me Right' on January 29th, 2020 which was exclusively premiered on Nashville.com.  The inspiring music video features The Highway Women, Heather Harper, Kristen Kae, Amanda Pruitt & Drew Haley along with women & children who volunteered to be a part of this project. The group wanted to bring the lyrics to life so that the song and video would reach more women and girls. 'I'm proud of what I see, the reflection staring back at me' is the lead into the chorus. The entire lyric of the song written by Producer Justine Blazer (Nashville) is a nod to the ladies and girls who need to believe that they are beautiful.  We live in a world that dictates beauty by airbrushes, nip, tucks, fillers and size of clothing. Not realistic for most of us who wake up and get ready to start each  day. 

Fassine's third album FORGE (March 27), and first on Trapped Animal Records & Cargo Records, is a tribute to the unassuming heroes on the fringes of society. The band shares, “FORGE' is about the small pockets of communities that are overlooked, unheard, ignored.”Sweet and aggressive, new single “Bloom” is a response to the obsession of perceived beauty in perfection. Addressing this disconnect, the band asks if something is more beautiful when it is broken.
