A celestial love story
Award winning playwright Shane Woon blends Chinese mythology, Boy Love drama and the AFL in Rabbit & Watson, an epic queer love story that transcends space and time. Directed by Keith Brockett, the play follows Rabbit God Tu’er Shen as he abandons heaven time and again to reunite with his lost love, now reborn as rising AFL player Watson. Tender, funny and mythic, this new work explores love, identity and Chinese Australian culture through a contemporary lens.
