Edward Scissorhands in Concert Live to Film at Melbourne Symphony Orchestra

The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra presents the Australian premiere of Edward Scissorhands in Concert Live to Film at Hamer Hall, featuring Tim Burton's 1990 modern fairytale with GRAMMY-winning composer Danny Elfman's score performed live by the MSO. Conducted by Nicholas Buc, the film follows Edward (Johnny Depp), a gentle artificial man with scissors for hands, who is drawn into a suburban community where his uniqueness eventually sparks jealousy and suspicion, while he develops a romance with Kim (Winona Ryder). The film also stars Vincent Price in his final role as Edward's creator. Elfman's score, one of his early collaborations with Burton, combines with the director's distinctive style to create the film's iconic atmosphere.
