Popular children’s theatre company Pollyanna will bring another original play, The Mystery of the Green Teeth Ghost, to the Rollins Studio Theatre at the Long Center for the Performing Arts Sept. 28 to Oct. 7. Ideal for grades kindergarten through second, The Mystery of the Green Teeth Ghost invites the audience to use spelling, anagrams and simple math to help the play’s young protagonist.
The play features brave young detective Cindy Sharpe, who works to solve the mystery of a creepy visitor to Eerie Cove, along with her sidekick, a hippo named Bacon. Several other wacky characters will keep kids engaged and entertained. “Not only do I love mysteries, but I've always enjoyed solving math tricks and games,” said playwright Holly Hepp-Galvan. “I think young audiences will enjoy solving both the mystery and the math along with the brilliant Cindy Sharpe, a detective their own age. And I think they'll also get lots of chances to laugh!”
