The Sarofim School of Fine Arts Theatre Department is proud to present the second annual Senior production, Lucy Prebbles The Effect. Tristan and Connie, two young volunteers, agree to take part in a clinical drug trial. Quickly, their romantic desires compromise the research. They have no idea whether this is real love or just the drugs talking. The whole trial goes off the rails as the clinicians deal with Tristan and Connies romantic spark. This thought-provoking comedy questions the limits of the human spirit, love, and medicine. Southwestern Universitys Alma Thomas Fine Arts Center, Jesse H. and Mary Gibbs Jones Theater. E.
