PIPPIN

The Cedar Park High School Theatre Department is proud to present the Tony Award–winning musical Pippin at the South Performing Arts Center from January 22–24, 2026. Performances will take place Thursday, January 22 and Friday, January 23 at 7:00 PM, and Saturday, January 24 at 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM.

This exciting production follows a young prince on his quest to discover purpose and meaning, blending unforgettable music, bold storytelling, and dynamic movement. The CPHS production features professional choreography by Matthew Kennedy, whose dynamic work brings energy, precision, and theatrical flair to the stage.

The musical is conducted by Lisa Holt, a 2026 Finalist for the Grammy Music Educator Award, whose leadership elevates the score and showcases the vocal talents of the student performers.

“Our students have poured their hearts into this production,” said Alisa Mirabella, Director. “Working alongside professional artists while guiding our students through this powerful story has been an incredibly rewarding experience. We’re excited to share their hard work with the community.”

Cast and Creative team for Pippin at South Performing Arts Center

Cast

Grayson Levee

Pippin
Grayson is a senior at CPHS and is so excited for his final performance, as he will be music directing Footloose in the spring. In his previous years, he has played the roles of Frederick Barrett in Titanic the Musical (for which he was nominated for Best Male Lead in the 2025 Heller Awards for Young Artists), Danny Zuko in Grease, and in 8th grade, Jack Kelley in Newsies. He is extremely grateful for all of the support from his friends and family, and he hopes that you enjoy the show!

Sara Hernandez

Leading Player
Sara is so excited to be in Pippin this year! She’s always loved performing on stage, especially singing, but she’s most excited to be performing with her friends. She wants to thank her directors, her mom and dad, brother, and all her friends for all the love and support.

Arthur Ce

Charles
Arthur cannot wait to show you his awesome crown and caped performance of King Charlemagne. Pippin has been such a wacky show to put on and he is super excited for you to see his costars do some crazy stuff. This dude has been participating in theatre all 4 of his high school years, and some of his favorite performances include Professor Plum in Clue, Amos Hart in Chicago, Isidor Straus in Titanic, and Lloyd Dallas in Noises Off. Charlemagne is a very special role to Arthur due to his goofy and booming presence, so he hopes that you have a great time watching him jump around and sing his royal heart out. Arthur would like to thank his super cool family for letting him go through all of this, and he would also like to thank his peers for helping him get to this place. He hopes you have a great experience.

Benjamin Akers

Lewis
Ben Akers is ready for battle! Although you may have seen Ben in numerous comedic roles like Freddie in Noises Off and Dr Einstein in Arsenic and Old Lace, he wishes to assure you that his portrayal is something new. Something groundbreaking. Something… raw. He’d like to thank the rest of the cast, crew and directing team for facilitating his conquest, with special thanks for Choreographer Matthew Kennedy for providing proper tactics for battle, and fellow Dance Captain Jayden Anderson for her remarkable displays of violence. He hopes you witness his power, bask in his glory, and revel in his spoils. Otherwise, you may be conquered next!

Caitlyn Peconga

Fastrada
Caitlyn is thrilled to have the wonderful opportunity to perform in Pippin! This is her fourth production with Cedar Park High School, and you may have seen her as Alice Beane in Titanic along with Annie in Chicago. Outside of theatre, Caitlyn is a member of CPHS’s varsity choir, sings in the a capella group, Seasons, and plays on the varsity soccer team. Caitlyn is endlessly grateful to not only the talented and driven performers she is surrounded by, but also the numerous directors she has had the privilege to grow and learn from throughout the rehearsal process, including M, Mr. T, Mx. Nathan, Mrs. Holt, and Matthew Kennedy. Caitlyn would like to give a huge thanks to her incredibly supportive parents and sisters; she doesn’t know how she would function without their endless encouragement. Caitlyn is so proud of her fellow castmates, and is extremely excited to share all of their hard work with you throughout the performance. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Zoey Bramwell

Catherine
Zoey is thrilled to be performing in Cedar Park High School’s production of Pippin! Outside of theatre, she is an active member of the a cappella group Seasons, Varsity Choir, Club Volleyball, and serves as a choir officer. This past year, she was also part of Cedar Park’s productions of Titanic and Chicago. She is incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication everyone has poured into this show and feels so grateful to share it with an audience. Throughout this production, Zoey has cherished the new friendships she’s made and the bonds that have grown even stronger along the way. Zoey would like to extend her heartfelt thanks to her theatre directors, M and T, her choir directors, Mx. Nathan and Mrs. Holt, and choreographer, Matthew Kennedy, for their unwavering dedication and guidance. She is also deeply grateful to her wonderful friends and family for their endless love and support. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Abby Davis

Berthe
Abby is so excited to be a part of CPHS's Pippin! This is her 5th production on the CPHS Theater stage; her other roles include US Florence Snider in Leading Ladies, Kate Murphey in Titanic, Marina Galino in Tony n' Tina's Wedding, and, most recently, Dotty Otley/Mrs. Clackett in Noises Off. When Abby isn't on stage, she performs with CPHS's improv troupe, PNG. She would like to thank her voice teacher, Mrs. McBrayer, and her Director, M, for all their help vocally and in the development of this character. Finally, she would like to thank her family for constantly cheering her on, and she hopes you enjoy the show!
