Join Mary Moody Northen Theatre, the award-winning producing arm of the St. Edwards University Department of Performing Arts, as we continue our 48th annual season with a public reading of Maypearl, a new play in development by Tlaloc Rivas. About the PlayMMNT New Works Program presents a livestreamed professional reading of a new play in development. Originally commissioned as an adaptation of Friedrich Drrenmatt's 1956 tragicomedy The Visit, Maypearl has expanded through weeks of collaborative company work into a rich and timely exploration of love, loss, redemption, community and social justice. Join us in the play-making process as this work in progress receives its public premiere.
