Jazz in the Crescent Room at Chez Zee with John Burnett and his Bluesette Quartet at Chez Zee American Bistro

Beloved NPR Correspondent John Burnett returns to the newly renovated Crescent Room at Chez Zee for another intimate Austin-style supper-club evening featuring his Bluesette Quartet with Burnett on blues harmonica, Benito Brajkovich on the red piano, Nicholas Davis on upright bass, and introducing the newest member, Andrew Baird on guitar. We are also excited to welcome the vocal stylings of Margaret Justus throughout the evening.

The experience is 6:30–9:00 pm, and the Crescent Room’s warm, close-up atmosphere makes every seat feel like you’re part of the band. A few seats have obstructed views, but the acoustics fill the space beautifully—there truly is not a bad seat in the house - especially if you’re here for the music.

Enjoy free valet, an optional $40 prix fixe dinner, and our full menu of martinis, truffle fries, steak frites, and the famous desserts Chez Zee is known for. Reserved seats are $5–10, choose your seats when you book your tickets. This event will sell out.

You can reserve individual seats at tables of 2 or 4. If you don't fill the table, others will book and you'll make new friends that night. For larger parties of 6 or more, we do also offer semi-private tables tucked around the corner. These do not have a direct line of sight to the band but offer a cozy setting where you can still hear every note. It's a fun way to gather and enjoy the evening together - it's unlike anything you've ever experienced!
