KMFA's Offbeat Concert Series presents a collaboration between Golden Hornet and Onix, Mexico City's premiere chamber ensemble, featuring works by Jimena Contreras, Felipe Pérez Santiago, and Graham Reynolds. The program includes two new commissions on the theme of horror stories, blending Mexican folk monster-inspired music with a score adapted from Ballet Austin's Poe. The ensemble features conductor Felipe Pérez Santiago along with Austin musicians Alexis Buffum, Taylor Wang, Kenzie Slottow, Ilia De La Rosa, and Joey Colarusso.
