Austin Playhouse presents Arcadia, a compelling exploration of the interplay between past and present, written by Tom Stoppard and directed by Lara Toner Haddock. This celebrated play delves into significant themes of art, science, and history while traversing time between 1809 and the present. The cast features Alyssa Hurtado as Thomasina Coverly, Ismael Soto III as Septimus Hodge, and Andrea Osborn as Hannah Jarvis, among others. Arcadia runs from September 13 to October 6, 2024, at Austin Playhouse's interim performance space.

Austin Playhouse is a professional regional theatre, founded in August of 2000. Over fifty of Austin's leading theatre artists, administrators, and volunteers who had worked with Producing Artistic Director Don Toner to build Austin’s State Theatre Company into one of the city’s leading arts organizations, joined him in creating this new professional theatre for Austin. On November 27, 2000 Austin Playhouse was granted 501(c)(3) status by the Internal Revenue Service.
