In June Serenbe Playhouse will take on the dark, southern scope of Tennessee Williams’ A Streetcar Named Desire. Blanche DuBois’ timeless and sultry tale of deception will be brought to life on the industrial scenery of Serenbe’s new Art Farm Stage, where a post-World War II French Quarter will be housed within rustic, recycled shipping containers. Expect the tale of Stella, Stanley (played by Matthew Davis of The Vampire Diaries) and Blanche to be brought to new light – one with more sexual intrigue, youth, and contemporary know-how than ever before.
