Join us for an exceptional afternoon on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 4:00 PM, celebrating the music of the iconic Sarah Vaughan, known as The Divine One. She got her big break opening for Ella Fitzgerald and went on to create timeless hits such as "Misty," "Body & Soul," and "Whatever Lola Wants." Experience her unique style brought to life by the talented vocalist Maria Howell.
Discover the Jazz Legacy Project (JLP), created in 2015 after an epiphany by Justin Varnes while teaching Jazz History at Georgia State University. With an ongoing residency at the Velvet Note jazz club in Atlanta, the JLP has been selling out performances for six years. By ditching traditional textbooks in favor of playing records and sharing stories about artists, the project has successfully introduced jazz to college students and beyond. It's not just about what to listen for in jazz; it connects the music to American history and cultural shifts, opening up new worlds for audiences.
Tickets are priced from $27 to $67. For an enhanced experience, consider the VIP Ticket Package, which includes early access to seating, a Q&A with the band, two drink tickets, and a poster signed by the band!
