The Savannah VOICE Festival presents a vibrant production of the classic comic opera The Pirates of Penzance on August 17. The story follows the adventures of the Pirate King, Mabel, and Frederic, featuring a blend of community talent from returning festival artists, Milnes VOICE Studio singers, Chatham County School students, and a Savannah OPERA orchestral ensemble conducted by Jorge Parodi and directed by Chad Sonka. This performance is part of the festival's mission to celebrate vocal excellence through various events and educational presentations in the Savannah area.
