GUYS AND DOLLS Opens at FoCAL Center Tonight, Runs Thru 8/30
Directed by Dawn Phipps, this production kicks off the Forsyth County theatre's 2026-27 season.
The FoCAL Center invites audiences to step into the colorful, high-energy world of Broadway with its production of Guys and Dolls, running August 21–30, 2026. Located in Forsyth County, the theatre brings this classic musical to life with a talented cast and creative team, delivering the energy, humor, and heart that have made Guys and Dolls a favorite for generations. Audiences will recognize beloved musical numbers including “Luck Be a Lady,” “Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat,” “Take Back Your Mink,” “A Bushel and a Peck,” and “Guys and Dolls.”

Set against the lively streets of New York City, Guys and Dolls is a beloved musical comedy filled with memorable characters, romance, comedy and classic songs. The story follows notorious gambler Sky Masterson and determined missionary Sarah Brown as an unlikely romance unfolds amid the city’s bustling underworld of gamblers, hustlers, and dreamers.
Performances of Guys and Dolls will be held August 21–30, 2026, at the FoCAL Center, located at 1150 Dahlonega Highway Cumming, GA 30040. Audiences are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance, as seating is limited. The production is sponsored by Northside Hospital Forsyth, continuing the organization’s partnership with the FoCAL Center to support the arts and cultural opportunities available to the Forsyth County community. Guys and Dolls is part of the FoCAL Center’s 2026–27 theatre season, which also includes Come From Away, the annual co-production of The Nutcracker with Sawnee Ballet Theatre, and Forever Plaid. The season also features Frozen Jr., presented through the FoCAL Center’s Penguin Project, an inclusive theatre program that pairs student artists with peer mentors.
