FADlab Will Host TAKE NO SHIT! Writing Workshop with Obie Outlaw in Atlanta
The empowering workshop for writers of all levels takes place at Synchronicity Annex
Atlanta's theatre community is invited to experience a new workshop, TAKE NO SHIT!, led by writer and director Obie Outlaw. Designed for writers of all experience levels, this workshop blends storytelling with conflict navigation to help participants create more honest, courageous work. The event is on April 26, 2026 from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
Hosted by FADlab at the Synchronicity Annex on April 26 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, TAKE NO SHIT! incorporates staged exercises, dialectical practices, and elements of Muay Thai martial arts to guide participants through physical and emotional dimensions of conflict. Participants will leave with practical tools to navigate writing difficult situations and develop a stronger sense of trust in their creative voice.
Obie Outlaw (they/them) is a multi-hyphenate Artist currently creating in Atlanta, GA. They are a professional Tarot reader & Astrologer, and a passionate yogi. Obie's most recent projects include: self-produced Table Read of their original play THE R WORD; Know Thyself: Meet Your Inner Writer FADlab Workshop; performing in - Dr. Faustus (Resurgence Theatre), Flay's Anatomy (Limelight Theatre & ATL Fringe Festival), & Valentine's Puckin' Fuppet Show (Center for Puppetry Arts); and directing “The Vagina Read,” at Blueprint Festival, and "Bottle of Soup," at Lavender Fest.
