White Plains Performing Arts Center's Renaissance Theatre Academy will receive a sponsorship of $40,000 from Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. with a ceremonial check presentation. For the second year in a row Wal-Mart has supported the Academy with a major donation. Last year the Theatre Academy received $30,000. Wal-Mart will also provide school items for students of the theatre throughout the year.
The presentation will take place on March 25 at 11:30 at the White Plains Performing Arts Center in White Plains, NY.
The White Plains Performing Arts Center is a professional, not-for-profit theatre company that continues to bring innovative and eclectic entertainment and classic Broadway musicals to the heart of Westchester County. The theatre, under the direction of Executive Producer
