What we're watching: THE LION GUARD: RETURN OF THE ROAR, a sequel to THE LION KING, airing tonight on Disney Channel!

And a Happy Birthday shout-out to Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who hits the big 4-0 today!

Ferguson last appeared on Broadway in THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE, which won the 2005 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Ensemble Performance. Before that, he starred in ON THE TOWN. He recently took the stage in SPAMALOT at The Hollywood Bowl and in THE TEMPEST, THE WINTER'S TALE, THE MERCHANT OF VENICE and A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM at Shakespeare in the Park. Among his other off-Broadway credits are WHERE DO WE LIVE?, LITTLE FISH, HAIR at Encores!, NEWYORKERS and KEAN, as well as a concert production of ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY. The actor is well known for his role as 'Mitchell Pritchett' in the long-running ABC sitcom MODERN FAMILY.
